We always strive to create a welcoming atmosphere for visitors, however we also understand that visiting a new church can leave people feeling a bit apprehensive. We hope that the information on this page can ease uncertainties and make your first time and Friedberg more meaningful and stress-free.

Schedule
Sunday Morning Schedule
We hold one worship service every Sunday morning at 11:00 in the sanctuary. This is a standard traditional service with pew seating, choir, and organ accompaniment. In addition, our 11:00 Sunday morning services are live streamed on our YouTube channel as well as our website. Our Sunday school classes are held at 9:45 am, eache Sunday, preceeded by music from our Moravian brass and wind band at 9:00 am. Sunday school at Friedberg is similar to small group ministry at other churches, with each class participating in Bible study, discussion, fellowship, and collective spiritual growth. You can find more information about Sunday school here.

Nursery
Nursery is provided during the 11:00 am worship service and is divided between infants and toddlers. Ushers are available to assist visitors in locating the nursery.
Children’s Church
Children’s church is held for pre-K through fifth grade during the 11:00 am worship service. Children wishing to attend Children’s church are invited to first attend the opening of the 11:00 worship service, during which all children will be dismissed to the Children’s Center for Children’s church. This usually happens right after the Children’s sermon portion of the worship service and will be announced by the pastor or worship leader. Parents will need to pick up their children from the Children’s Center right after the 11:00 am worship service ends. The Children’s Center is located on the lower floor of the Family Life Center. Signs are posted throughout the building to assist visitor’s in locating Children’s church.
Worship
What Worship is Like
Worship at Friedberg is of a primarily traditional style. We sing hymns from our hymnal, Moravian Book of Worship, along with other traditional hymns of the Christian church. Our choir usually sings more contemporary choral music, and we will occasionally sing contemporary songs as a congregation if they fit the theme of the sermon.
Dress Code
Friedberg does not have a particular dress code, however you are likely to see most of the congregation dress in “business casual” as well as suits and ties in the 11:00 am service. Ultimately, we emphasize “come as you are” over adhering to any particular dress code.
Offering
How Much to Give
As our guest, we do not want you to feel obligated to give anything to our offering. We do pass offering plates during the service for people to give if they feel lead.
